Thank You to all ECISC Participants

Dear 2011 East Coast Indoor Soccer Championships Participants,

On behalf of the Tournament Committee and Staff, Dennis and I would like to say thank you to the players, coaches and spectators for making this year’s event the best so far! We had great competition and fun. In addition to the play, the atmosphere was electric! Thanks to the Virginia Beach Field House for hosting the event. The venue is surely one of the most impressive in the entire United States. We appreciate all of the food collected for the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia.

We want to send a special thank you to the Next Level Academy, XL Soccer World and Soccer Sisters teams that travelled from North Carolina. Their presence was felt as they really showed us how the indoor game should be played.

Congratulations to all of the winners and finalists! We wish all the best to the teams travelling to Nationals later this winter and spring. The information of the National Indoor Championships series is listed below. Finally, we want to thank Futbolr for enhancing the weekend with music, great product and a personal touch regarding the awards ceremony. We look forward to welcoming Futbolr back as a Presenting Sponsor in 2012.

Please keep an eye out for next year’s event registration later this summer. Don’t forget to apply early as the competition will continue to grow, and remember that we have a limited number of spaces available. We hope to see you at the North American Sand Soccer Championships in June! Register now for Sand Soccer as spaces are already filling up!

Breaking News Blue Moon Soccer Mom’s and Dad’s Division Added

Blue Moon Soccer Mom’s and Dad’s Division Added to ECISC  Limited Space

Dear Soccer Participants,

After considerable interest we have added a Blue Moon Soccer Mom’s and Dad’s division to the tournament.   This division will be limited to 10 teams – first come, first accepted.

Elgibility:

• Be of average playing ability (hint, hint)
• Can run (a little)
• No age limit – oxygen provided!!
• Looking for fun and exercise
• You will play 7v7, maximum roster of 15 to keep the substitutions rolling

This is a no brainer for all you loyal and devoted soccer lovers.  Get your team together NOW!!

Games will be in the evening time frame (after 7pm)

The Virginia Beach Field House was chosen because of the impressive facility and we are very excited that it will act as a host of the East Coast Indoor Soccer Championships this year and for many years to come.  We are confident that we will be considered to host the National Finals in the future.

• U9-U18 Boys and Girls (U15-18 may be either club or high school team)(annotate below)

• Three games guaranteed
• U9-10 play 5v5 maximum roster 15 players (upstairs fields)
• U11-U18 play 7v7 maximum roster 15 players (downstairs large fields)
• High School Age Coed play 4v4 maximum roster 10 players (upstairs fields)
• High School Age Groups will most likely have late/overnight games Fri/Sat.

East Coast Indoor Soccer Championships Now Regional Qualifier for Nationals – U11s now 7v7

After popular demand, the U11 age group is now 7v7 which conforms with Field House League Play – we appreciate your feedback in making our event the most professional and enjoyable for the players.

Also, as previously announced the ECISC is now a Regional qualifier for the 2012 National Championships.

The East Coast Indoor Soccer Championships Named as a Regional Qualification Event for the National Indoor Soccer Championship

Since 1994, the best of the best have competed in divisions I & II of the National Indoor Soccer Championship. The National Indoor Soccer Championship was founded to fulfill the need of teams wanting to play for something “big” in winter. They were tired of playing the same teams session after session and no opportunity to move to the next level beyond their local facility.  Now teams play in more leagues and tournaments; increasing practice time in an effort to play in a regional tournament and advance to the national finals.

The premier indoor sports arena introduces the premier indoor youth soccer championship!!

Register in a recreational or competitive division for U10 through U15 teams. Also playing boys and girls High School divisions (ages 15-18 years) or High School Coed 4 vs. 4 (ages 15-18 years). All teams are guaranteed at least 3 matches.

The most soccer fun you can have in a weekend!

When: January 28-30, 2011

Where: Virginia Beach Field House
U10 & younger divisions play 5 vs 5. Maximum roster is 15 players.
U11 through U15 & High School divisions play 7 vs 7. Maximum roster is 15 players.
High School Coed is 4 vs 4. Maximum roster is 10 players.
